Adult Sunday School Opportunities

Our adult classes at North Riverside are open to visitors and new members. Sunday School Gathering begins at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall with classes beginning at 9:45. We encourage you to visit several classes and then choose one that you find interesting, affirming, and challenging! Be sure to arrive early every 2nd Sunday from 9:00 - 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall for our Donut Social.

Miracles Class Room22 (Upstairs by office)	Branches Room 23
This class is designed for creaing fellowship amoung young adults and young married couples. Becky Caswell-Speight and Robin Ship co-lead this class through discussion of the application of theology and scripture in the everyday lives of young adults.	Donnie Waller leads this class of median-aged adults in deep and engaging descussions each Sunday. The class studies a variety of books, connecting them through scripture and practical application to life. Currently, the class is reading and discussing Brian McLaren's A Generous Orthodoxy.
Bridge Builders Room 111 (Outside Fellowship Hall)	Light Keepers Room 118 (Fellowship Hall)
Co-led by Ron Swain and Yolanda Park, this class of adults who are in the prime of their lives use the Ventures Bible Study for discussion and application of scripture to their everyday lives.	Led by BJ Gourley, this co-ed class is composed of median aged families who gather to study the Bible and apply God's teachings to their own lives. The class uses the Standard/NIV Series to lead discussion.
Lydia Class Room 119 (Fellowship Class)	Agape Class Room 112 (Fellowship Hall)
This Senior Adult women's class is led by Virginia Ball and Alice Worthington. They use the Explore Bible Study which sparks discussion among the members each week.	Elsie Greunke and Chris Astle co-lead this class of Senior Adult women. They use Smyth & Helwy's Formations which follows the Lectionary.
Weaver's Class Room 114 (Fellowship Hall)	Andrew ClassRoom 120 (Fellowship Hall)
This class of intergenerational women is co-led by Charlotte Cale and Glenna Hundley. They use Smyth & Helwy's Formations which follows the Lectionary.	Bennie Barnett and Al Lindler lead this class of older men in Bible study using the Smyth & Helwy's Uniform Series. The class enjoys discussing scripture and its application to life.

Youth Sunday School Opportunities

6th - 8th Grade Class Room 201 (Upstairs behind the sanctuary)	9th - 12th Grade Class Room 202 (Upstairs behind the sanctuary
Led by Chris Gourley, this class will use Smyth & Helwy's Intersection.	Mason Proctor leads this class using literature from Smyth & Helwy's Intersection.

Children's Sunday School Opportunities

*Preschool classes are taught by church volunteers and assisted by paid workers

Infants & Creepers Room 102-Green Room	Kindergarten & 1st Grade Class Room 205 (Upstairs behind the Sanctuary)
Jennifer Biles, Kate Brickley and Whitney Hight assist with all our bed babies.	Brian Griggs with assistance from Laura Fletcher teaches this interactive class using Group's Faithweaver Curriculum.
